The original item was published from October 18, 2022 3:41 PM to October 19, 2022 4:05 PM

The Windsor Heights City Council, in an effort to ramp up local economic development activity, will consider new tax incentive programs to be made available for multi-family residential and small business developments.  The programs have been discussed and developed by the City’s Economic Development Committee and will require amendments to the City’s Urban Renewal and Urban Revitalization plans.  The proposed changes will create new multi-family residential TIF abatements over seven years, as well as a new small business forgivable loan program. The Council is set to hold public hearings on October 17 and November 7.
