2018 Street Rehabilitation Project

Description

This project consists of rehabilitation of streets at various locations throughout the City of Windsor Heights, that includes approximately 13,000 feet (30 blocks) of hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay along with concrete street patching.  The following streets are proposed to have HMA overlay:

  • 69th Street between Washington Avenue and Hickman Road
  • Northwest Drive between 69th Street and Franklin Avenue
  • Allison Avenue between 66th Street and 64th Street
  • 66th Street between south end and Lincoln Avenue
  • 66th Street between School Street and University Avenue
  • 70th Street between University Avenue and Colby Avenue
  • Mott – 69th Street to 66th Street
  • School St – 64th to 65th
  • 65th St – School to Lamar Pl
  • Lamar Pl – 65th to 64th St

The project also includes concrete street patching on:

  • 70th Street between Colby Avenue and Hickman Road

Project Status

 HMA Overlay:

  • The Contractor will be installing curb on 69th Street south of Northwest Drive the week of 16th. That portion of the street may be closed while they install the curb. All work is weather dependent.

    Work will finish on 70th Street between Colby Avenue and University Avenue Monday, July 16th. The roadway will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the work. All work is weather dependent.
