Unbiased Policing Ordinance 20-05

On July 20, 2020 the Windsor Heights City Council gave final approval to Ordinance 20-05, Unbiased Policing.  This Ordinance reinforces the commitment of the City of Windsor Heights, and the Windsor Heights Police Department, to the unbiased, equitable treatment of all and the Ordinance directs all employees to treat everyone in a fair, impartial and objective manner, in accordance with law, and without consideration of their individual demographics.  Read the entire Ordinance by clicking here.

Windsor Heights Police Department Policy and Procedure Manual

The Windsor Heights Police Department is committed to what we refer to as the TRAITs of a professional and progressive law enforcement agency.  Those TRAITs include Transparency, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, and Trust.

To further our beliefs that TRAITs create a strong partnership between the community and law enforcement, we publish our policy and procedure manual online for the public to view.  Any specific questions surrounding the police and procedure manual should be directed to the Public Safety Director / Chief of Police and Fire Services.
