Looking for a family friendly atmosphere to celebrate your 4th of July? Well, look no further! Mark your calendars for the Windsor Heights Annual Fourth of July Celebration! With a video game truck, inflatables, live music and much more, there’s something for every member of the family to enjoy. We will kick the festivities off at 2:00pm with our annual Parade. Route begins at Sherwood Forrest and 73rd, heads South to University, then South down 66th Street and ends on School Street at Colby Park. From there the fun continues with assorted activities, food vendors and a beverage garden from 3:30pm – 9:30pm. Shelter Reality will perform at Colby Park after the parade. Sons of Gladys Kravitz and Jimmy the Weasel will take the stage and entertain the crowd in the evening. Fireworks will end the evening and are scheduled to go off promptly at 10:00pm. If you would like to participate in the parade, volunteer, or be a vendor, please contact Sarah at 645.6809 or email email@example.com.
From May until July 3rd, we will be pre-selling wristbands for inflatables for $10 at City Hall. The price will increase to $15 the day of the event. We will also be selling wristbands for a video game truck for $10 before the event and $15 the day of the event.
