Mayor Jerry Sullivan is in his first term of service after being elected in November 2005. Prior to his service as Mayor, Mr. Sullivan served one term on the Windsor Heights City Council and had a record of actively participating in his community. In addition to serving as Mayor, he represents the city of Windsor Heights on the board of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Metro Advisory Council, the Metro's Mayors group, and is a member of the Windsor Heights Lions Club. Prior to his election Mr. Sullivan served on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Iowa. Mr. Sullivan is a Financial Services Representative with Principal Financial Group. Jerry and his wife Christy have two daughters daughter, Kelley (married to Brian Kelting) and Katie, and one son, Tim (married to Nicki).
