Windsor Heights was a finalist this year for the All-American City designation. This video shows the presentation the city gave the judges in Tampa during the competition.
The City wishes to thank all of the many contributors who participated in or provided funding for the City’s participation in the All-America City competition. The total cost of the competition was approximately $35,613. Of that, the net cost to the City was approximately $7,493. To pay for these costs, the City reduced the number of representatives sent to Washington, DC, saving $4,575. Therefore the originally unbudgeted amount of $2,918 was paid for from a $6,000 savings from another line item in the budget. The participation and funding from community and regional organizations, totaling $28,120 is representative of the partnerships which made Windsor Heights an All-America City finalist!
