The Windsor Heights Police Department is a full service Police Department that recognizes its most valuable asset is a close relationship with the community. To provide the best possible service, the Department has made it as convenient as possible to request vacation house checks on your home.
This form is used to notify the Police Department of your upcoming vacation. The Police Department cannot guarantee that we will be able to check your residence at specific times or maintain the security of your home while you are away. However, we will make every effort to visually check your home by driving by three times a day and walking the perimeter once a week.
We strongly suggest that you stop all mail and newspaper delivery prior to your departure, unless someone is taking care of this for you. We also encourage you to notify your neighbors of your absence and enlist the help of a family member or friend to check the interior of your home regularly. Security house checks will not be performed on a residence that has been vacated or listed for sale.
