The Windsor Heights Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation with a volunteer Board of Directors made up of residents of Windsor Heights
The mission of the Foundation is to raise funds to enable it to implement, support, and maintain projects and programs, which will benefit the entire community. These include such things as:
- Free Music in the Park summer concerts at Colby Park.
- Holiday home lighting contest.
- Colby Park and Lions Park lighting and benches.
- Fourth of July Parade.
- Support of the Windsor Heights Senior Citizens group, the Lions Club, and the Keep Windsor Heights Beautiful committee and their projects.
- Special projects, including a large glass-front curio cabinet for the display of items of historical significance in City Hall; and a large ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors.
- Support of the bike/pedestrian parkway.
