JUNE 7TH, 2010 REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING AGENDA
6:00 P.M. – CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS

1. Call to Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Approval of the Agenda.
3. Good of the Order.

4. Approval of the Minutes:
• May 17th, 2010 City Council minutes both published and unabridged versions.

5. Public Comment. This is an opportunity for any citizen to come forward and discuss any item that is not listed on the Agenda. (Please limit presentation from 2 to 5 minutes.)

6. Approval of the Consent Agenda.
All items listed below are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered after the other items listed on the Agenda.

(a) Cigarette/Tobacco Permit for Kruegers Amoco
(b) Cigarette/Tobacco Permit for Quick Trip
(c) Cigarette/Tobacco Permit for Sam’s Club
(d) Cigarette/Tobacco Permit for Wal-Mart
(e) City Hall Handicap Door Plan
(f) Claims and Payroll.

7. Approval of liquor license requests
(a) City of Windsor Heights (for July 4th celebration)

8. Consideration of Progress payment number 11 to Prostruct in the amount of $307,360.50

9. Consideration of Resolution approving a planting and landscaping plan from A Plus and contract for the community center in the amount of $15,000.

10. Consideration of a resolution approving plans and specification for the public works driveway replacement.

11. Public hearing and consideration of resolution instituting proceedings to take additional action for the authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $460,000 General Obligation Capital Loan Notes to provide funds to pay costs of refunding and refinancing of certain outstanding City indebtedness (2010A) (Please note this is NOT new debt or debt extension, but the refunding of current debt projected to save money in debt service payments.)

12. Public hearing and consideration of a resolution instituting proceedings to take additional action for the authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $350,000 general obligation refunding capital loan notes. (Please note this is NOT new debt or debt extension, but the refunding of current debt projected to save money in debt service payments.)

13. Discussion regarding the Hickman Road Streetscaping Plan.

14. Staff updates, if any.

15. Council member comments.

16. Mayor’s inquiries.
