 All items listed below are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.   There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered after the other items listed on the Agenda.

(a)   Appointment to Keep Windsor Heights Beautiful Committee.

(b)  Approval of Settlement Agreements with Kum and Go regarding tobacco violations.

(c)   Set date of Public Hearing for May 5^th at 5:15 p.m. on FY 2008 budget.

(d)  Set date of Public Hearing for May 5^th at 5:15 p.m. on internal loan for capital purchases.

(e)   Approval of March report for Police

(f)   Approval of March report for Fire

(g)   Approval of March report for Public Works

(h)  Approval of Monthly Clerk and Investment Report for March.

(i)    Receive and File for Audit Monthly Treasurer's Report for March.

(j)    Claims and Payroll

6.               Consideration of a resolution setting May 5th at 5:15 pm for a public hearing on proposed revision to Chapter 41, Zoning Code definitions.

7.               Consideration of support for an application by the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Smart Growth Implementation Assistance program.

8.               Discussion of the Washington DC Trip and Windsor Heights priorities. 

9.               Consideration of resolution authorizing the City Administrator to direct change orders in the Elder Corporation Contract and Discussion and direction regarding Colby Park walkway design.

10.           Consideration of a Resolution executing a 28E agreement between Windsor Heights and Polk County for providing assistance on the community center project.

11. Discussion and direction regarding community center design.
